ESD Training offers a FETAC component certificate, Environmental Studies (L21324) titled Sustainability and the Environment.
This module is designed to enable the learner to gain an awareness and understanding of current environmental debates and problems. By taking a systemic approach, learners will be encouraged to recognise the earth as an organic whole composed of inter-related systems. Issues of international protocol, regulation, legislation and environmental management will be debated within this context allowing for a better understanding of the guidelines needed for sustainable living in the 21st Century.
